As of this week, the Santiago Mission has supplied 21,942 meals to those in need. Also this week, Santiago Mission has taken on the task of suppling 20 school children with their needed school supplies at a cost of approximately 2000 Indian Rupees per child. As of June 8th, 2022, Santiago Mission has provided a total of 21,662 meals to those in need. Every day, Santiago Mission’s hard work positively effects the lives of over 100 people in a variety of ways and we will continue to work hard to help as many people as possible.
The Santiago Mission is currently helping the hungry at a rate of 40 children and families per day. As of today, May 25th, 2022, we have given 21,102 meals to those unable to obtain food in troubling times. We were also recently made aware of some student of a religious class on retreat in India and took over their food expenses for the remainder of their retreat, which was two days.
As of April 23rd, 2022, 19,822 meals were given out for free to the hungry and impoverished.
For the week of March 4th – March 10th 2022, the Santiago Mission handed out 280 meal tokens, meaning this week we filled 280 hungry bellies. That brings the total fed so far to 18,586.
As of the 24th of November 2021, the Santiago Mission celebrated its 1 year anniversary of helping the children of Vembar. At the time of this wonderful milestone, the mission had handed out 13,822 free meals to those in need. Here’s hoping for many more years to come.
